Megan Lavins

Megan Lavins is a Banker at the J.P. Morgan Private Bank in the Greater Tampa Bay Region. She helps families and individuals build, preserve, and manage their wealth by providing guidance and advice. She is dedicated to educating and empowering her clients to take control of their financial goals and create trusting relationships.
Megan joined J.P. Morgan in 2017 as an Investment Specialist Analyst in New York City. Her team worked closely with the bank’s Chief Investment Office and helped manage relationships by offering and monitoring a customized investment approach. She was also a part of the Fixed Income Asset Class Specialist team. Prior to New York, she spent four years in Washington, D.C. with a boutique financial planning firm.
Megan received a B.S. in Finance at American University and was the President of the Financial Management Association. She stays involved with The Kogod School of Business as an active alumna.
In her free time, she is a competitive marathoner, running over 70 miles a week and placing 53rd in the 2021 Boston Marathon. She serves on the board of her alma mater, Hudson Montessori School, and is actively involved in non-profits and young professional organizations within the Tampa Bay Region.
