Dara Weinerman Steinberg joined the board of Hudson Montessori School in 2023. Her family has been a part of the community for over seven years; currently both of her sons attend HMS. Dara and her husband, Eric, both come from families of educators, and were excited to learn more about the Montessori philosophy which values both community and independence, has a learner-focused approach, and fosters children's curiosity.

Originally from NJ, Dara earned her MBA from Fordham University and BA from Smith College. In 2019, she founded Steinberg Consulting. She works nationally with foundations and high-net-worth donors to develop philanthropic strategy and impactful giving programs, as well as working with nonprofits on their strategic and organizational challenges. Prior to consulting, Dara held leadership roles for a variety of nonprofits, focusing on their strategy, development, and operations. In addition to her professional work, she’s served on several local and national nonprofit boards. Dara is a voracious reader and enjoys exploring Northeast Ohio with her family.
