About Our Club Programs

Mid-Day Clubs

Mid-Day Clubs are offered to Children’s House students (ages 3 to 5) beginning at 11:30 a.m., the end of their academic morning. They include sports, cooking, ballet, drama and more.

After-School Clubs

Students aged 3 to 12 years can stay after school with their friends and participate in a variety of on- and off-campus clubs and programs from 3:15 to 6:00 p.m.

Clubs are taught by members of our staff as well as community members, educational institutions and local businesses, such as the Akron Zoo, Hooked on Fencing, and the Learning Ladder. Students often discover a new passion or develop skills and talents in new areas.

There are multiple sessions during the academic year, with new and exciting age-appropriate options each time. Private lessons in piano, violin, viola, brass, and woodwind instruments are also available through our HMS Conservatory of Music
