Adam Ladd spent part of his summer assisting in the instruction at the AMI Montessori Orientation to Adolescent Studies at Hershey Montessori School. The training hosted 40 teachers from all around the world for a five-week course that prepared them to teach middle and high school grades using Montessori's developmental approach to learning. Adam presented a day-long workshop on the Humanities, provided a presentation detailing the middle school program at HMS, and, with the help of middle school staff, hosted all 40 teachers in Hudson for an experience in place-based pedagogy. In addition, he assisted with the final exit interviews on the last day.
