The Middle School Years (Grades 7 & 8)

Combining innovative teaching methods with traditional and cutting-edge curriculum, the Middle School program offers a unique learning experience. HMS students challenge and stretch their intellectual capacity through discussions and seminars, shared-inquiry, literary analysis, and learning by making connections between disciplines. Lab sessions and field studies in science, algebraic problem solving in math, digital discoveries, experiences in the arts and foreign language study along with learning the value of community service instill in our Middle School students a commitment to lifelong learning.

The Middle School at Hudson Montessori is committed to Dr. Maria Montessori's principles and provides an educational program that responds to an adolescent's individuality, motivating the student to discover by challenging her/himself, thus inspiring self-confidence.
