When you enroll your child at Hudson Montessori School, you automatically become a member of the Family Connection.
The Hudson Montessori School Family Connection works in partnership with the Head of School, Parent body and the Board of Trustees to support the School's philosophy, programs and activities for the benefitof all Hudson Montessori School students.
HMS parents have contributed their resources, time and talents to the school since it was founded (by parents!) in 1962. The goal of the Family Connection is to keep the HMS community healthy and rewarding, and to mobilize parent resources for the support of the school.
The Family Connection organizes fundraising, social, and community activities and coordinates these activities with the school administration. Even before school starts, the FC will sets up Room Parents and begins planning for the year. During the school year, parents coordinate the Fall Pumpkin Sale, Faculty Luncheons, Community Service, the Book Fair, School Rewards, and more. They also work with the school administration on our major fundraiser, the HMS Auction. HMS’s Director of Admissions is the liaison between the school and the Family Connection.
