Procedure for Admission

Please call the Admissions Office at 330.342.9334 to request an Application Packet and to schedule a personal tour of Hudson Montessori School.
2. Application Form
Complete the application form and mail it or drop it off at the school.
Once your application has been submitted and processed, we will call you to schedule an interview. Interviews take place during the school day, Monday through Friday.
Children's House program (ages 2½-6): your child will meet with a Children's House Directress for approximately 20 minutes. Children are evaluated on the basis of readiness for school and potential for success in a Montessori classroom.
Elementary (ages 6-12) and Middle School (grades 7-8) program: the student will be invited to spend 2 days in an Elementary or Middle School classroom.
4. Recommendation & Release of Records Forms
Parents of children with prior school experience will be asked to sign a Release of Records form. This authorizes your child's present school to send us a copy of school records. We will also send your child's current teacher a Recommendation Form to complete and send back to us. Recommendation Forms are confidential documents between the sending school and Hudson Montessori School. These forms are to be sent directly from the previous school or teacher to HMS.
We consider many factors when evaluating an applicant including the required application paperwork outlined above. These help us to form a complete picture of each applicant including their strengths, interests, and personal qualities. We seek students who are best suited for our program and who we believe will contribute positively to our community.
