Stephanie White Lower Elementary Assistant Years of Experience: 16 Years At HMS: 5 Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education (Vocal and Piano) at the Elementary level. She began her teaching career as a first and second grade teacher in 1995, and has since worked as a Children’s Choir Director and a substitute teacher for various school districts including Lakewood, Hudson and Stow. Her experience includes working with ‘Intervention Assistance Teams’ to help students, working with 4th graders in a proficiency tutoring program (Ohio Reads) and planning and preparing school-wide holiday musical programs. She has participated in numerous workshops and conferences over the years. She enoys getting to know parents and students by volunteering at HMS events and working in childcare. “The creativity, concentration, independence and excitement about learning that I have witnessed in my son and other Montessori students are traits I want to encourage in each child that I teach.” >> Back to list of faculty members
