Laura White Lower Elementary Directress Years of Experience: 21 Years At HMS: 21 Laura has a B.A. degree in Speech and Drama from St. Mary’s College in Indiana. She has worked as an on-air personality at a radio station, a bank teller, and a hospital pay-roll clerk .Her desire to find the best form of education for her sons led her to Montessori education. When her family moved to Ohio, Laura enrolled her children at Hudson Montessori School. She became a volunteer at the school, then a Board member, and finally an assistant in the Children’s House classroom of Mrs. Koshy. In 1990, Laura took her American Montessori Society (A.M.S.) training at the Michigan Montessori Teacher Education Center. She began her teaching career at Hudson Montessori in 1992 in a Lower Elementary classroom. Laura’s two sons attended Hudson Montessori School and are now college graduates. “Each year at Hudson Montessori School I look forward to meeting, teaching, and learning right along with your children.
