Shawne Klun Upper Elementary Assistant Years of Experience: 13 Years At HMS: 11 Shawne attended Kent State University (Arts and Sciences) and Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, N.Y. (Advertising/Design) as well as having worked in the business community for many years prior to coming to HMS. She has taught Sunday school and brings a great joy in observing and working with children. She has certification in “Jin Shin Jyutsu” (Acupressure) and Junior Great Books. Shawne is an avid bird watcher and nature lover who's passion and desire is to become a naturalist in her retirement years. Shawne describes herself as having a great appreciation for life and the experiences that present themselves. “Through my compassion and experiential wisdom and love of learning I hope to inspire the children to a greater level of observing, questioning and sharing.” >> Back to list of faculty members
