Jeanette Chin Upper Elementary Directress Years of Experience: 12 Years At HMS: 12 Jeanette graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, Jeanette was hired to work in a team-teaching position with a Montessori-trained teacher in the Upper Elementary class at Hudson Montessori School. After a year in this position, Jeanette left for Washington D.C. to pursue her AMI Elementary training at the Washington Montessori Institute. In addition, she obtained a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction at Loyola University. Jeanette and her husband are now proud parents of a daughter who is in the Extended-Day program at Hudson Montessori. “In the Montessori environment I am able to know my students at many levels – socially, emotionally, and academically.
