HUDSON MONTESSORI SCHOOL - AN ISACS AND OAIS ACCREDITED SCHOOL
Independent schools demonstrate their educational excellence and sound governance through accreditation. For Hudson Montessori School, this accountability comes through the accreditation process established by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS) www.isacs.org and the Ohio Association of Independent Schools (OAIS) www.oais.org.
We are also one of only twenty one schools in the nation to have been recognized as an "All Schools Attuned, All Kinds of Minds School of Distinction".
The Independent Schools Association of the Central States The Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS) is an association of independent schools located in a 15-state region in the mid-west. ISACS was founded in 1908, and serves both as a service organization for its member schools and as a network for promotion of quality in independent schools.
A central purpose of ISACS is to encourage, develop, and support the highest possible standards in its member schools and to recognize by formal evaluation those schools in which these standards are achieved and maintained. Member schools are required to demonstrate their commitment to quality education and school growth through their participation in the established ISACS accreditation process. This is a seven-year cycle of components consisting of an intensive self-study report, a school visit by a qualified evaluation team, and several stages of follow-up. (ISACS Accreditation Guide, 17th edition).

HMS - An "All Kinds of Minds School of Distinction"
Hudson Montessori School offers individualized instructional programs based on the neurodevelopmental principles and philosophies of the All Kinds of Minds program. As an "All Kinds of Minds School of Distinction" Hudson Montessori School is committed to implementing the principles, content, and processes of All Kinds of Minds' programs and has embraced the philosophies of All Kinds of Minds.
Our goal of fully integrating All Kinds of Minds' programs is being achieved through our successful blending of All Kinds of Minds' and Hudson Montessori School's missions, and ensuring that each school year, a minimum of 50% of our faculty members are applying expertise on brain-based learning acquired through programs offered by All Kinds of Minds. Our educators use new knowledge and tools to identify unique strengths and talents, understand learning struggles encountered by students and integrate teaching strategies for how each student learns so that all of our students can reach their full learning potential.
