History
The Hudson Montessori School is a non-profit, independent school, chartered by the State of Ohio. Founded by a group of parents in 1962, HMS is operated by a Board of Trustees. HMS was the 13th Montessori School established in the United States.

Facility
The Hudson Montessori School campus is nestled on seven wooded acres in the historical Western Reserve Region.

Faculty Training
All the faculty at Hudson Montessori School have received their Montessori training and certification through either Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) or American Montessori Society (AMS).

Many of the HMS faculty members hold Masters degrees as well. The faculty bring to their positions not only wide ranges of experience but also thorough knowledge of and dedication to meeting the developmental needs of children.
